Product description

A long thread cable gland is a variant of the standard cable gland that is characterized by offering a longer thread length, adapting to the specific needs of the project.

The cable gland is used to protect the wiring connection. Its design and mechanical components compress an internal elastomeric gasket within a housing.

It is common in specific applications to have to adapt small components to the design and wiring protection possibilities that are presented. In this case, the length of the threads of a stuffing box can be modified through a change in the mold.

Long thread glands are quick to assemble and easy to install, just like standard thread glands. They have a wide working temperature range and are available in both the plastic gland and metal gland versions.
